Lose Fat Not Muscle – High Intensity vs Low Intensity

Long durations of aerobics with low intensity burns fat during the workout. But the fat burning stops after the workout is done. Your body ends up storing more fat because of your workout. You will not get the fat loss you desire performing endless hours of low intensity aerobics. You are not building the muscles you should. You are not pushing your muscles and body but just working within its capacity. Doing low intensity aerobics all the time everyday can even decrease your muscle mass with long time use. What you are doing is not forcing your body to improve on its capacity or go to the next step.

Eat Foods That Are Good For You

Focus on foods with many nutrients in them. These foods satisfy your hunger and are healthy. Eat smaller meals and snacks. Keep track of what your eating and the portion sizes. Foods containing carbohydrates, proteins and fats are not created equal, check it out. Eat most of your proteins from plants. Eat complex carbohydrates with plenty of fiber. Always eat fruits and vegetables. Fats that are naturally occurring should be in your diet. Don’t underestimate the importance of drinking water. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Eat every three or four hours. You want to keep your metabolic rate burning body fat.
